Sweet little Lucas was the first little newborn boy I’ve had in my studio in a long while. And I must say he melted my heart. It could be that he so reminded me of my first little boy, and everything was vastly different from my daughter. But gosh he was a cutie and I made sure to get lots of baby snuggles in while I could.

She was completely asleep when she arrived, having driven to my studio from close to Boulder! What an honor to be selected as her newborn photographer and to have her family come all the way to me for her newborn session.
Read MoreAnother precious newborn girl was in the studio this weekend! Sweet Annika made her photography debut and her mom had lots of gorgeous requests for her little girl. She wanted lots of girly pinks and purples, and she sent me several photos of props she wanted to incorporate. I’m so glad we were able to work in all the props as I typically do a few less set ups, but Annika was a trooper and her gallery is just beautiful.

Madelyn was beyond adorable and oh so tiny at just about a week old. She ended up being an amazing sleeper who loved to be curled up with her legs into her chest. It sure made it easy for lots of poses as it didn’t matter if it was a bucket, the moon prop, or on the bean bag - if her legs were tucked in close, she was happy.
