Lucas' Newborn Sneak Peek
Sweet little Lucas was the first little newborn boy I’ve had in my studio in a long while. And I must say he melted my heart. It could be that he so reminded me of my first little boy, and everything was vastly different from my daughter. But gosh he was a cutie and I made sure to get lots of baby snuggles in while I could.
I was told Lucas has been quite the fussy one, what with keeping his parents up all the time and being a challenge to get to sleep. We started out with him giving me a little bit of a run for my money, making me pull out all my baby tricks. But after eating and swaddling, we got some photos with his parents and he slowly settled and went to sleep. After that he was a dream baby and his photos came out beautifully!
I’d even questioned his ability to do the bucket images since babies need to be truly asleep for that prop. Lucas was a bucket champ! Of all the props I used and different blankets I pulled out, the bucket seemed to be where he was most comfortable.
His mom also had asked for some holiday images and I was so excited to incorporate some reds, snowflakes, and my little cedar sled. Then I sure had fun with one image in particular for this peek where I added some true holiday magic.
Thank you so much to new mom and dad for letting me be part of these memories and for driving all the way out to my studio from Northglenn! Your little one is just precious and while I know the days (and nights!) are long now, time sure does fly. Give him an extra snuggle for me.
