Arya Newborn Sneak Peek
Miss Arya was in the studio yesterday for her newborn photo debut, and was an absolute dream baby to photograph. She took one break mid-way to eat, looked around a few minutes, and then went right back to sleep. Arya was just 6 days “new”, and at the perfect age to curl up and tuck her toes underneath her tummy and fit in my metal bucket. And she didn’t seem to mind any particular pose and just slept away while we captured lots of beautiful images.
Arya brought both sets of grandparents to the studio along with her mom and dad. The family was so nice and they set up their own tea party outside the hot room and enjoyed their treat while they waited to take the family photos. It’s always special to take the family photos, especially with grandparents. I have some of myself with my mom when my daughter was born and I treasure those pictures of my first daughter and my mom’s first granddaughter. We were able to get a big extended family photo along with individuals of each grandparent holding the baby.
I love the dark purples and mauve pink colors throughout the session. Arya was the first baby to use my new deep purple fabric on the beanbag and I’m in love. It also came to my attention that I don’t have a maroon wrap, which seems like a silly oversight considering I graduated from Texas A&M! (Maroon is the school color) Now I’ll be sure to keep my eyes open for some maroon prop additions for the studio, and you never have to tell me twice I can have fun buying new props.
A huge congrats to this family on your new little one! She is absolutely precious and enjoy all those baby snuggles and sleepless nights as they truly do go by fast.
