National Association of Professional Child Photographers: International Image Competition
The International Image Competition is a digital competition promoted by the National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP). It recognizes the accomplishments and creative excellence of child photographers via several different categories and is judged based on visual impact, technical skill, and overall artistry. The purpose of this competition is to learn, improve, and elevate the imagery in the Child Photography Industry. Several hundred entries are evaluated in each category via a panel of judges, and to place with a Merit or Metal is an esteemed honor. Jenni’s awards for this competition include:

2017 - Recognition of Merit, Newborn Category, “Simply You”
National Association of Professional Child Photographers: Inspired Gallery Event
This event is held by the National Association of Professional Child Photographers, or NAPCP, for the purpose to inspire creativity for NAPCP members and photographers across the globe. This competition is different from the other digital image competitions as judges first select the best 100 images in an initial round of judging. The photographers must select how they wish to display and print their art inside a 16x20 white matte. The size, paper selection, and finish are all up to the photographers discretion. The final artwork is then displayed at a live gallery event at Park Studios in Atlanta, GA, the NAPCP headquarters, and ribbons are given to the top 3 images in the 3 themed categories for that year. Jenni has placed in the Top 100 each year this competition has been held, and her images now hang in her studio in Aurora, CO.
2019 - Top 100 Artist, Color Category, “Skyward”
2018 - Top 100 Artist, Color Category, “Perfectly Purple”
National Association of Professional Child Photographers: Weekly Favorites Winner
NAPCP hosts bi-weekly, themed competitions inside the members online community. Every other week a theme is introduced and members have the opportunity to submit one watermarked image that they feel represents the category for the week. It’s a fun way for members to share their work and style of photography, and see how creative others can be within the parameters of the theme. When a photographer is a selected as the winner for that round, they are featured within the online community and on the NAPCP website.

Shoot and Share Annual Image Competition
This unique competition boasts being the largest photography competition in the world. Participants may enter up to 50 images of their work across various categories and millions, and I mean millions, of images are submitted. There can then be hundreds of thousands of images in each category! The unique part then comes in with voting, as anyone can log onto the Shoot And Share website and vote. Images are presented in groups of 4 and you select your favorite images. There are several weeks and rounds of judging, and images are awarded based on making it to the top 20%, 10%, 5%, and so on, with the top winning images in each category. Just being in the top 20% is an incredible feat when you consider the magnitude of this competition, and Jenni has had several images that received high enough votes to make it into top rounds of voting.
