Brynlee was a tiny little one in the studio this past week, weighing in at maybe 4 pounds. She also was a terrific sleeper and I was able to pull out my little cup prop that really only fits preemies like her. After meeting her parents during their maternity photo session, it was such a joy to see them again and meet Brynlee for these special photos.
Read MoreCooper was such a wonderful little chunk for his big newborn photo debut! I could already see so much of his personality as Cooper spent most of the session gazing at me or my studio light. But he was also so peaceful and calm about it that it sure brought a smile, and you better believe by the end I’d used every ounce of my baby whisperer charms to get him to sleep for those special, final photos on the beanbag.

Read MoreSweet little Harvey was a dream baby to photograph for his newborn session earlier this week. After the first few minutes he really relaxed and let me play with props, different blankets, and add in some special moon and start features for his parents.

While he was a last minute addition to my schedule, his mom reached out at the perfect time and he was still sleepy, curly, and truly just an all around content baby so we could capture lots of images for his family to remember this stage.
