Harvey's Newborn Sneak Peek
Sweet little Harvey was a dream baby to photograph for his newborn session earlier this week. After the first few minutes he really relaxed and let me play with props, different blankets, and add in some special moon and start features for his parents.
Harvey was a perfect fit on the moon prop and we were able to swap out a few different hats and even get his little leg to hang over the side for a few. But he truly started to relax and let his fingers stretch out when we started photos in my bucket. He was very content to let me add various lights or pinecones while he slept with his chin on his hands.
His parents had brought in two very special blankets for us to incorporate. One was a blue hand-knit blanket from a grandparent, and another was a custom blanket with his name. I was inspired to bring out more of my moon and star hats and additions to coordinate with those personal items.
Harvey also was a fabulous little model on both fabrics on the beanbag. He was great on his tummy or back, and did a textbook “huck fin” pose in the most adorable little overall pant set. Dad came in at the end to operate the camera while I kept Harvey safe for the final “chin-in-hands” pose and the sweet little guy was still passed out after we’d finished with pictures.
A huge congrats to this family on such a precious little one! Enjoy all those newborn snuggles!
