It was so wonderful to see this family again and to capture new family portraits! The last I saw the boys they were so much shorter and now their oldest is taller than me and learning to drive. We had a great evening to head out for photos and even incorporated some baseball pics as their life revolves around all things baseball.

This mom taught my oldest way back when in kindergarten and it was great to reconnect and see how much her kids had grown. Plus we used the Aurora Reservoir as our location due to it’s significance to the family and it’s proximity to where they live.

I last saw them for big brother’s newborn photos, and it was so wonderful to see how much Joe has changed and grown and to be part of these special memories before they become a family of four.
Read MoreThis family had a truly gorgeous summer evening for their family photo session! We went to a nearby park for the tall summer grasses and also had a beautiful sunset and sky at the same time. Plus the kids were wonderful and I had a blast getting to know them a little and capturing these special memories with both mom and dad and updating their full family portrait.
Read MoreI had another set of cousins in the studio this week for updated portraits. One of them is at my house all the time for sleepovers, playdates, etc. as she’s friends with one of my children, and it was such fun to get to take her photos with her two older cousins for a very special gift for grandparents.
Read MoreAfter several reschedules due to freezing temps or snow, I was so happy to finally get to meet this family for their first outdoor photo session. We joked that even this particular evening the wind was crazy, but we had an otherwise perfect night with warmer weather and a gorgeous sunset to capture these special memories of them with their son.
