Lynch Family Sneak Peek
I had such fun with this family last week to capture family and maternity photos for them before they welcome a baby girl later this fall. I last saw them for big brother’s newborn photos, and it was so wonderful to see how much Joe has changed and grown and to be part of these special memories before they become a family of four.
Mom wanted a family focused maternity session, which is always a great way to incorporate older siblings and still capture a few traditional maternity pics. She sent over some inspiration photos and I was excited to get to lead a session focused on playing with Joe and the fmaily just being together and enjoying each other.
Joe was a true little boy at the first location with the water and rocks and wanted to walk around, put his fingers in the water, and play. His dad did a great joy keeping him occupied so we could capture family photos and some of Joe with both his mom and dad indivually.
I know working with toddlers can be daunting, but Joe did a great job and it was nice to let him take the lead on how our session went so we got lots of interaction with him and candid moments with each parent.
We had a beautiful sunset at our final spot and Joe let us get a few very important photos of the family with the mountains behind him and a snuggle photo with mom. Then he was totally done (which was understandable!) and all he wanted to do was run on the hill. So we got a few of just the couple together and I snagged a great pic as he ran off behind me.
What a great way to spend an evening and I can’t wait to see this family again soon and meet the new baby sister. Enjoy this peek into a family fun maternity session!
