Aarna's First Birthday Sneak Peek

This sweet little girl is celebrating her first birthday in style with photos and a “berry” cute cake smash! Aarna was so precious during her photo session and had several adorable outfits to go with her winter and strawberry themes and truly was a delight as we photographed these special memories.

We started with one of my favorite winter backgrounds in pink and gold - perfect for a winter babies and with just the right girly touch. Aarna had two quick outfits for this background. One was a precious red sweater and knit cap, and the other was a peach colored tulle dress. She looked like a cute little elf or fairy and was quiet with her sneaky smiles, but we did get a few as she loved playing with the beaded necklaces.

Then we got several photos with her parents and grandmother who was also present during the pictures. Aarna was still a little shy but was content to be held by her family and to at least look at the crazy person (aka me) clicking away on the camera.

She then had a special sweatshirt we snagged a few quick photos in before changing over the background and getting ready for her berry first birthday cake smash. This strawberry and cream background is adorable and I added extra berry lights and letters spelling ONE to add a festive touch.

Aarna wasn’t sure she liked cake, but she did give it a try and even licked the frosting a bit off her fingers. She was quite dainty the entire time trying not to be messy but she soon was having fun and we finally got some great laughs and smiles from her at the very end - yay!

It was such a joy to be part of these special birthday pictures and I wish this little girl the happiest first birthday as we enter the holiday season.
