Ariana's First Birthday Sneak Peek

Ariana sure was sweet during her special birthday photos this weekend. We captured some beautiful photos of her in her pink birthday dress first with a balloon wall background, then ended with a simple cake smash with balloons and a pink tutu.

We started with Ariana in her pink dress and headband for nice photos with the new pink and rose balloon wall background. Ariana took a minute to warm up to all the new things happening around her, but she was adorable as she stared at the crazy grown up trying to get her to smile.

She did a wonderful job in the curved bench chair and then later in the circular basket. But I think she most enjoyed the big white chair since she also got to hold one of my wooden stars while she sat there.

Then we switched the setting over to a more simple scene with just the white background so all the focus would be on Ariana for her cake smash. Mom and dad had brought two sets of balloons we places on each side of her, then there was a gorgeous pink cake with glitter.

Ariana took her time eating her cake, truly enjoying each piece.. Sometimes a parent needed to help her with bites, but overall she handled it all on her own, particularly liking to lick the icing off her fingers. And I don’t blame her as that frosting looked delicious! Plus she looked perfect in her pearls and first birthday headband -what a great way to celebrate turning one!

A big thanks to this family for allowing me to be part of such special memories! And I hope you all got to enjoy what was left of that amazing cake.
