Kayla's Senior Sneak Peek at Hudson Gardens
I had the privilege of working with Kayla and her family earlier this week to capture gorgeous images for her senior pictures. Her family inquired about a new location for her session, which was new to both of us, but turned out to be an amazing option right now especially with all the closings at public places due to Covid. We met at The Hudson Gardens & Event Center over in Littleton and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful evening to be out taking pictures. Not only was there perfect cloud cover keeping the temperature down, it was fairly empty of visitors, and ended with a beautiful sunset reflected in the lily ponds.
Kayla and her family had scoped out the location on an earlier weekend and had marked some great spots where they wanted to take photos. Kayla’s family was all there to support her and they were such troopers carrying around her wardrobe changes and items, but also helped carry a few of my items as well. I truly enjoyed visiting with all of them and getting to know more about their family as we spent the evening capturing Kayla’s senior pictures. She had a wonderful assortment of outfits or jackets to add that changed up the look. It was so hard in the moment to narrow down places for photos and doubly challenging to cull down images on my computer from her session. Yet I think my favorites are where the sunset and clouds reflected in the water of the lily pond right at sunset and paired beautifully with Kayla’s maroon laced shrug.
A huge thank you to this family for not only trusting me with these very special memories, but also at a new location. I enjoyed spending the evening with you all and can’t wait to share Kayla’s gallery with you soon!
