Theo was one adorable little guy when he came in for his first birthday pictures. He was ready to go with his African traditional clothes and big smile, plus did a fabulous job smashing his cake and banging it like a drum. We all had a great time watching him celebrate and he made for a fun morning!
Read MoreI had another little guy in the studio this week who last was here for his newborn session. Grayson is now celebrating his first birthday and, gosh, was this a fun session! He was such a happy baby, truly fitting his “one happy dude” theme, and he had his mom and I laughing so much with his faces and expressions.
Read MoreIt was another wonderful evening to be out taking senior photos, this time for Dylan. I had previously met the family for his older brother’s senior pictures and it was great to see them again for this milestone. The park was still lovely with the big trees and we had a great time walking around the trails for Dylan’s senior session.
Read MoreI had such fun with Ingrid and her mom during Ingrid’s senior photo session last week! We met at a local park I love for it’s fall foliage and special outdoor spots and Ingrid added her own flair by bringing her violin.
Read MoreIt was so great to see Miss Emma again as the last time we met she was just a few weeks old and in the studio for her newborn session. Her mom picked whites and simple curtains for the theme to keep the focus on Emma and she was an adorable mix of being very serious or smiling and laughing.

Jenn and I met years ago over wine when she was a rep for one of my favorite wine subscriptions and it’s been so fun to get to know her family and see the kids grow. The oldest are so tall now (taller than me for sure!) and everyone seemed happy with their new school year of classes. We met at a great local park where there are lots of big trees and tall native grasses which was the perfect setting for their fall pictures.
