Madison and Her Grandparent's Sneak Peek
The next session has been a long time in the making! Madison’s father purchased a gift certificate for his parents to have professional photos with her later in the year. It was excited to then schedule our date and meet this sweet granddaughter on a special outing day with her grandparents!
Madison was so tiny and petite and was quite unsure about me or the studio when she first arrived. But once we gave her a cup and some pearl necklaces she was full of smiles. She loved pulling them out, sorting them, and then walking away to set them up somewhere else. Her grandparents sure got in some exercise capturing her when she’d try to zoom off.
She was such a good sport at letting us swap out chairs or even put on her sun hat. She never tried to rip it off and continued to happily play with all her beads. Basically, as long as she was wearing a set and had other sets in each hand, she would do whatever we asked.
I brought out my little wooden tea set when we changed to the sweet bee background, and Madison finally abandoned the beads. She had a blast moving the pieces around on the tray and stirring things with her spoon.
Her grandparents were troopers to also sit on the floor in their fancy clothes and have at tea party with Madison, while she shared the lemons to put in and out of the teapot.
It was such fun to finally meet this family and capture such special memories! These are the kinds of sessions that always bring a smile to my face as they freeze those fleeting moments in time.
