Josephine and Marion's Twin Newborn Sneak Peek

I got to spend a morning with these two precious girls for their big newborn photo session! Josephine and Marion were so adorable and already showing off their preferences and personalities. We captured this special time for the family with individual photos of each girl as well as several of the girls together with a soft pink and neutral theme.

Whenever I do twin sessions I try to keep one baby in a particular color and the second in a different color, so that when parents look back on the photos they can recognize each baby more easily. With that in mind, I used pink wraps and flowers for Josephine and used white wraps and flowers for Marion.

The girls rocked the big props right when they arrived, with Marion snuggling on top of her sister on the twig bed. My husband and twin assistant for the morning always had Marion in a safe position with him supporting her head during those photos and monitoring the girls for any needs while I snap the pictures.

The girls swapped times eating along the way, allowing me to get several individual photos of each sister and take my time swaddling them for a few photos of them together in a crate. I put Josephine in a sweet bunny bonnet and Marion in a pink bear bonnet for an adorable set of of the girls together, with Marion even flashing a few smiles!

We also were able to slowly work to snuggle the girls together on a soft blanket where I captured close ups of their tiny fingers and toes. They were so sweet cuddled with each other once they both settled and relaxed with full tummies.

Finally, we ended with a few photos on my bean bag, even getting the two together again for a sweet picture of Marion laying on her sister. Lots of thanks an appreciation to their mom and nurse who were in attendance with all their help feeding, sushing, and comforting babies so we could capture these sweet memories!
