Lionel's 6 Month Sneak Peek

It was so fun to see Lionel and his family again and marvel at how big he’s gotten! I met this family shortly after he was born for his big newborn photo debut, and now he’s already 6 months old. We celebrated with milestone photos to capture his sitter stage and smiles and he was such a happy guy during his session.

Lionel was already quite stable when sitting independently at his age, so we were able to get several photos of him without a support or pillow behind him until he got tired toward the end.

His parents opted for the Where The Wild Things Are background and I had fun pulling all the special themed props out for him. He even let the hat stay on until we were ready to remove it!

Lionel tried out several buckets and my big white chair, plus showed off his tummy time skills with his stuffed lion for a few photos. I also captured him just talking and playing on his back and I love those overhead pics as they capture his big eyes and a few quick smiles.

We also were able to get several photos of Lionel with his parents, all together and separately. They had coordinated their shoes for the session and I love the image we got of Lionel sitting in his tiny converse sneakers next to his parents feet.

We ended with a fun set up with lights, a skateboard, and fun t-shirt for the little rock star. Lionel did great all the way to the end and I can’t wait to share this special sneak peek with his family!
