Olivia's Newborn Sneak Peek
This sweet little girl was a doll during her newborn photo session, decked out in pinks and spring colors. She was so relaxed and a great sleeper that we were able to do many poses and pros, all with flowers and feminine details.
Olivia arrived a few days after her expected due date, but she was healthy and happy during our entire newborn session. She didn’t mind being on her tummy or back, and even let me put her in not one, but two special outfits her mom brought. One was a heirloom sweater and bonnet that has been passed down and worn by all babies in the family - how special is that?!
We did spring colors and flowers for Olivia, with lots of pinks and touches of green and cream. She breezed through the two big props of the twig bed and hot air balloon, and then snuggled right in to her swaddle wrap, so long as at least one hand was out and touching her face.
We captured a few family photos with her parents, including a special pic with her dad where the two of them were touching noses. And we worked in a few more parent details to her session with a photo of her mom’s hands around her feet, and then both parents’ hands making a heart over her toes.
Olivia ended with poses on my bean bag and was one of the best babies I’ve had in a long while during the “chin in hands” pose. She was so relaxed and deeply asleep, even after a full session, that it was a quick time capturing the needed images to composite together to create that fun photo.
A huge congrats to this family on your sweet girl! I so loved being part of these special memories.
