Hazel's Newborn Sneak Peek

This sweet girl was such a perfect little model during her big newborn photo session last week! I had the honor of photographing big sister’s newborn pictures several years ago and it was so great to see this family again and now take Hazel’s photos.

Hazel’s mom had requested pinks and purples and I loved getting to pull out the girly headbands and floral things. She also wanted to use the hanging swing so we carefully placed Miss Hazel on there with mom standing by as support. I also like to sneak a little chair under the swing during the actual photos as it keeps babies safe and is easily removed later in the computer.

Hazel had the same delicate little fingers like her sister and she didn’t mind me messing around with arranging her hands or fingers while she was in my special bucket. She even was ok with letting one arm hang down for a few pictures which shows just how relaxed she was!

Big sister was also a true champ and was so careful with Hazel and a wonderful listener for all the family pictures. I typically need to plan for timing for siblings her age to adjust to the studio and scene, but Brooklyn gave me her best smiles right away.

We ended with my favorite curly sleepy poses on the beanbag with Hazel’s little tushie in the air or her hands resting under her face. She was so content that even after the chin in hands pose she fell right back to sleep.

It truly was such a great treat to see this family again and meet the newest addition! Congrats on adding another precious girl to your family!
