Adeline's First Birthday Sneak Peek

It was so wonderful to see this family again, now with a little sister! I had such fun photographing big brother’s first birthday cake smash about 2 years ago, and now I got to meet sweet Adeline for her birthday! She was such a doll and was thoroughly entertained with the beads while quite dainty with her cake. What a great way to celebrate!

We started with some photos of Adeline in an adorable pink lace dress, where she was fascinated with the necklace beads and sorting them in and out of the cup. Her big brother also jumped in for a few quick pics and was such a big helper trying to get his sister to look up from her beads at the camera.

She did great in the white curved chair but loved the basket. She seemed to like to be “stuck” in there and we got our first laughs and smiles with mom working hard to catch her attention.

After a quick pic or two with both mom and brother, we switched over to her cake smash and her beautiful pink cake. Mom even added some pink glitter which was the perfect touch!

Adeline was very dainty with her frosting and didn’t really get into the smashing part of the cake smash. But she did enjoy little bites, inspecting her hands as they got more dirty, and wiping them off on the floor. Even knocking over the cake didn’t phase her as she just then switched to playing with the cake stand.

It was truly a special session, and it’s always fun when it’s the baby’s actual birthday! Adeline had a great time in the studio and I wish her the happiest birthday!
