Nicole's Berry First Birthday Sneak Peek

Nicole is now officially one year old! This little lady had such fun during her big birthday bash at the studio, complete with photos with her sister, a cake smash, and splash bath, all with the most adorable strawberry theme to celebrate. I had such fun gathering items for her theme and both girls did so great during our first birthday session for Nicole.

Nicole’s mom wanted a soft floral background for her formal pictures to coordinate with the the girl’s pink dresses. Nicole was able to play with some bead necklaces and even big sister got in on the action with playing dress up. They both sat on my curved little chair, and then we planted Nicole in a basket where she was perfectly content to sit and smile at us.

I then switched over to the strawberry and daisy curtains for a fun background with added berry lights and lanterns to complete our scene for the berry first birthday. Nicole was so dainty with her cake and mostly just loved our responses to watching her faces, but big sister, Olivia, knew what to do! She even got out the plastic cake cutter and helped select pieces for the two of them.

We ended with a super fun and strawberry splash bath for Nicole, although she hardly splashed as she was so happy to be there and playing with the real strawberries and rubber ducks. She had the best faces and kept blowing on the berries which was just adorable. What a fun way to end a session!

I wish Nicole the happiest first birthday and am so glad I was part of these special memories! Cheers to more cake and even a bath afterwards to clean off the frosting!
