Sunny's Holiday Sneak Peek

I can’t believe Sunny is so grown up! She couldn’t quite sit unassisted when I first met her about a year ago, and now she’s a full toddler with personality, energy, and sure is walking all over the place. She was also so polite with sharing the props and saying “please” and “thank you”, that it made for a very fun session.

We started with some really fun holiday photos for Sunny in her Christmas outfit and my modern tree background. We added snow, a little cedar sled just her size, and a lantern and Sunny was hooked! She also loved arranging my giant ornaments or trying various ways to sit in the chairs.

She was so fun and all over the place it took both her mom and I to keep her in the main area for pictures, but truly it was a blast. Sunny was so happy and polite about everything it was just a matter of playing games and encouraging her to sit or study a prop and we were able to capture some adorable portraits.

Sunny also gets to be the first to try one of my new backgrounds, this one I’m calling boho pink. Sunny had the perfect coordinating dress that when with the flowers and scene and she loved rearranging the props and flowers as we went along.

That meant we tried to capture her with photos with mom or in a basket or bucket, but Sunny kept that pure happiness and escaped every time. BUT we got the best pics with her mom of tickles and giant smiles so it was so worth it!
