Cragg Family Sneak Peek

It was so wonderful to see this family again and how much the boys have grown over the last year! We had such a perfect evening for an outdoor session, which can be tricky in November as some late afternoons are windy and cold. But we had sun, a gorgeous sunset and sky, and the boys got to run and play which made for great smiles and family fun.

This time of year after the leaves have fallen can be tricky on finding a great location for outdoor pictures. So even though we’d done this location in the past, it’s such a great place where you have the pine trees, areas for interaction, and the big hill where you can see the mountains and sky at sunset.

The boys were so great at being playful yet following my lead on snuggling with parents or holding hands. The oldest did a fantastic job guiding his younger brother for some special sibling photos and I love how we were able to capture a few of just the two of them together.

We also grabbed a couple different options for the entire family portraits before breaking into pairs so each parent could be in photos with each of their kids. The boys got to play with leaves, find pine cones for mom and dad, and then explore the big hill at the end.

I loved moms request to just let everyone loose at the end to run and play tag. The kids had such fun with their parents and we got the best authentic smiles and hugs right after they’d been captured again for a final picture.
