Mila's Newborn Sneak Peek

Everyone, meet Mila! She came exactly on her due date and her parents have been so excited for her session and to have these special memories preserved. Mila was a perfect little sleeper, loved being on her tummy, and was overall just wonderful company in my hot studio a few days ago.

Mila’s mom wanted to go with classic newborn girl colors in pink, white, and some gold. She also told me that while pregnant, she and her husband would sing “twinkle twinkle little star” to her so they wanted to be sure to capture photos on my moon prop. What made it even more special was they brought in a framed photo of Mila’s grandmother who had past, and it was extremely humbling to incorporate that gorgeous photo alongside her granddaughter and namesake. I love when families bring in such special elements and it’s a joy to find ways to add them into a session.

We also added flowers and other girly elements like white lace with a flower pattern and a lacy bonnet. I’ve updated several of my props and hats recently and yet haven’t had a little girl in the studio for a while, so I was excited to bring those out for Mila. Plus I got a beautiful new bucket cover in white flowers and it was a perfect match for Mila’s newborn theme.

A huge congrats to her family on such a precious little blessing! Thanks for letting me be part of presrevnign these memories.
