Addis' Maternity Sneak Peek

Check out this gorgeous mom-to-be! I met up with Addis and her husband over the weekend for a beautiful evening maternity session before they welcome their little boy in October. We had to make a few timing adjustments due to the smoke in the air causing us to lose light earlier, but overall it was a beautiful evening for their session.

Addis had several gorgeous custom gowns that she brought with her. It was hard to pick a favorite as each complimented her in a different way. I loved the rust colored dress with the special sleeves at the water spot as it seemed to just pair perfectly with the summer colors. Then Addis brought out her big gorgeous white dress with tulle all around the bottom. Her husband was a trooper carrying it for her as the tulle spread out wide around her feet. The couple humored me and even stepped into the water a bit, letting the ends of the dress dip in the water and I am in love with the images! She looks like a goddess out on the water!

We finally ended our session at a place where you can typically see the mountains at sunset. But with all the smoke from nearby forest fires, we couldn’t see them this night. Yet I will say we had a beautiful pink sky where we were able to actually photograph the sun and get some very unique images. The couple is so excited to welcome their baby soon, and I can tell how much love surrounds that little guy already.
