Wimer Family Sneak Peek

This family contacted me about special photography session of the three of them (plus the dog!) before they welcome another little on next spring. We had a chilly night for pictures due to the darn wind, but I’d say we captured some good ones, especially of their cute little girl.

The Wimer family wanted to do two locations, the first being along the little lake. The water that usually rushes down the rocks in the summer had been turned down and the colors were different, but it was still beautiful especially with the geese in the background. Everyone braved the wind and I was super impressed by their dog who sat and looked at me almost the entire time we took the big family photos.

Then since the little girl was chilly, I had her snuggle in with either mom or dad and I love the special cuddles she gave her parents. While she was more fascinated by either the geese or the external flash nearby, we still caught some great moments with her parents and some genuine smiles.

We ended our evening with photos against some pine tree and then snagged a sunset family photo before Hazel had just had enough of the cold wind. And I don’t blame her! It was ridiculous how strong the wind was this evening! Dad was a trooper and took her back to the car to warm up, so mom and I got an unexpected mini maternity session at sunset.

A very special thanks to this family for braving the wind and capturing new family photos with me. Despite the weather I’d say it was a success!
