Savannah's Fall Senior Session

Savannah and her mom had scheduled senior pictures earlier in the summer to get a prized fall date in early October, hoping for fall colors around town. The colors were just barely starting to change, so they weren’t exactly the vibrant yellow’s we’d hoped for but I still think you can tell that fall has arrived especially with a golden and red sunset.

Savannah wanted to include her dog in a few of her pictures as she works as a vet tech and wants to continue that after high school, potentially studying to become a veterinarian. We stopped at a wall of trees for these special photos where some of the leaves had started to change to golden yellow. I then had fun tweaking a few things on the computer to try to give a true “fall vibe” for Savannah and her mom. Plus the dog was just awesome at finding my camera!

We ended with a gorgeous smoky sunset that created beautiful reds and yellows behind the mountains. Savannah really stood out in her white dress against the sky and I think more than anything it seemed to be a real fall evening. The light was just a beautiful gold as it peeked out behind the trees and mountains and it made her hair glow.

A big thanks to Savannah and her mom for allowing me to be part of such special pictures! I wish you the best this senior year and all that the future brings!
