Mila's Sweet One First Birthday Sneak Peek

This sweet girl is celebrating her first birthday in style, with an oh so cute Sweet One ice cream party theme. When I saw the ideas for the cake and her party I must say I was excited as I did a similar theme for my own little girl. Plus I got to see Mila again after it being a year since her newborn photo debut.

It was so wonderful to see how much Mila has grown and to see her family again to celebrate her first birthday. Mila was adorable in her rose pink dress for nice portraits and she preferred sitting on the floor instead of showing off her standing skills. But we capture great smiles with the gold glitter ONE letters and with her in a basket.

Then we switched over to the Sweet Shoppe background where I pulled out some wooden ice cream and frozen treat toys. Mila was so funny in how she went straight for a rainbow popsicle toy instead of the ice cream cones, but we did snag great pics of her enjoying all the toys in her adorable tutu.

Finally, we let Mila go for it with a cake smash, and the cake was such a perfect fit for both the theme and the background colors. I especially loved the ice cream cone on the top, that Mila later enjoyed digging treats out of. She wasn’t entirely sure about the whole “sweet cake” thing, but if you put icing on a puff or strawberry treat she was all over it.

I so enjoyed this fun photo session for Miss Mila. I hope you have a fabulous first birthday surrounded by family and friends and really appreciate more cake and ice cream to celebrate your SWEET ONE!
