Grant's First Birthday Sneak Peek

It was so wonderful to see this family again and how much both kids have grown! I love getting to see clients as their families grow and especially for special milestones like first birthdays. Grant had a fabulous time with his smash cake and bath and we got some great photos of him and big sister, plus a few family pics with everyone in the frame.

Grant has grown so big in the last year since I saw him for newborn pictures! This is one of my Texas Aggie families and it’s always so fun to connect with others who went to A&M and get to chat about that experience together. We did a fun Texas type pink barn setting for big sister when she turned one, so I love that they opted for the red barn for Grant to coordinate!

We did a few nice photos first with the denim blue background and everyone got to get photos with Grant, including his big sister. Gosh she was fun and I loved all the energy and help, plus the help from all the adults to wrangle kids and get some with everyone looking at the camera.

Grant looked adorable in his jean overalls for his cake smash and he truly loved the cake. He even went for a few bites face first and I was so glad we snagged that adorable photo. He also had the best baby sit with his legs tucked under him, so we ended up with some photos sitting with the cake, some of him crawling, and then that flexible little sit next to the cake.

We ended with a super fun splash bath and Grant loved the little toys and giant yellow ducks. I’ve shifted to toys with zero holes and Grant gave his approval on the fun-factor. He didn’t splash but he did sort ducks, smile and laugh, and enjoy the warm water.

A truly happy birthday to this little guy and I am so honored to be part of these memories again for another Texas Aggie family!
