Brooks came into the studio this week for his big photo debut and his 6 month baby milestone photos. He was a rock star at sitting independently although a little pillow just in case was the perfect support. He also had the biggest smiles for me and his mom, making it a fun way to spend my morning.

His mom opted for neutrals and simple props for his session so as to have lots of options for prints later for hanging around their home. She also had the cutest little wooden train which I loved! I’m always on the lookout for little toys or blocks for babies to explore during their photos to make them comfortable and happy, and I loved the train so much I already ordered one for myself off Amazon.

Brooks was curious about the toy and gave great smiles, and he loved sitting propped up in my circular basket. He also liked the wooden 1/2 sign and examined it or put it in his mouth.

We tried a few tummy time pics, which he was less fond of, but once we flipped him over onto his back he was so happy! He kicked and talked, made little giggles and smiles his best grins.

His mom got in the frame for a few pictures too and I love capturing those mommy / baby snuggles especially a few cute little tushie pictures too.

We ended with a second denim outfit along with a wooden background and a few other baskets for Brooks to sit inside. He truly was a fabulous little model all the way to the very end! I can’t wait to see him again in a few months when we celebrate his first birthday!
