Aleksandar's First Birthday Sneak Peek

Aleksandar was truly one happy baby during his photo session to celebrate his first birthday! His grandparents from Europe were also in town for the occasion and we captured lots of additional family portraits along with letting him play with pinecones, chairs, and splashing in a little tub.

I loved the One Happy Camper theme and the night camping background for Aleksandar’s first photos. He had an adorable camping onesie that tied in perfectly to the theme, and we all got a workout wrangling him as he wanted to walk around the studio.

He was happy with anything we tried - different chairs, props, the letters spelling ONE. And he laughed and smiled the entire time. My favorite was when I tried to give us adults a break and capture him in a basket and he stood up, holding the sign, and just looked at us before trying to escape!

The family also gathered for several portraits with grandparents, parents, and mom and dad with Aleksandar. He was such a good sport at being passed around and kept that chill attitude all the way to our special splash bath.

I thought after observing all his energy he’d be a big splasher, but Aleksandar was more curious and reserved as he sorted the toys and rubber ducks. He did give some great expressions of surprise or delight as we changed out some of the letters or added pinecones, and as long as he could hold a duck in each hand he was great!

I wish this happy little camper a very happy birthday - I know you have lots of family here to celebrate and I know they will love getting to cheer you on that special day!
