Kai's 6 Month Baby Milestone Sneak Peek

I loved getting to see Kai and his family again now that he is a full 6 months old! We had a fabulous photo shoot celebrating his half birthday, complete with half a dozen donuts, family portraits with mom and dad, and a few adorable Valentine’s pictures at the end for the upcoming holiday.

Kai is still so adorable and he kept his curious little looks and smiles like before in his milestone sessions. But we did get a few more laughs and grins this time around, which was so fun!

He wasn’t quite stable yet to fully sit independently so we used his favorite bumbo chair and a few baskets and pillows to help prop him up. He still was a tummy-time star although I definitely got the sense he’s ready to move on to bigger moves that don’t involve being on his tummy!

We did an adorable half birthday theme for him with half a dozen donuts and a balloon wall background. He got to play and hold one of my inflatable donut props and loved being on his back surrounded by the sweet treats while mom and dad made faces above him.

His parents also jumped in some family photos with Kai this time around. We captured some full family portraits and then some with each parent so Kai got extra snuggles and hugs from both mom and dad.

Then he had an adorable little heart suspender outfit for Valentine’s Day and we paired it with my hearts and flying paper airplanes background. Kai loved the new basket he got to sit in, and he even was able to try the big white chair at the end with a little help from a pillow.

This guy will make the perfect little Valentine for his parents this year and I wish him a very happy half birthday!
