Brooks' First Birthday Sneak Peek

This sweet little guy was back in the studio to celebrate his very first birthday! He was all smiles, full of energy as he crawled all over the place, and had a fabulous time eating snacks and trying cake. What a fun way to spend the morning!

Brooks was still one happy baby when he came back for his second milestone session. He wasn’t afraid of me or the big studio lights, and he loved the extra snacks (which we used to encourage him to sit in one place for quick stints at a time).

He had an adorable red plaid shirt for his first pictures and we kept the classic white background like we did with his 6 month session. He played with the red pickup truck, laughed and tried to escape our baskets, and overall was happy to just be there with his mom and get all the attention!

After a quick change into an adorable pair of blue jean overalls, we were ready to let Brooks go after his cake! We had the simple yet festive blue balloons in the background and Brooks got to try his little hands at a cake smash.

He was much more interested in the cake topper but did give the icing a solid try, even going back for more of the sweet frosting. He also kept us on our toes with still trying to bring us cake or crawl away, which made him laugh even more.

Overall it was such a fun session and I wish him the happiest first birthday! I hope to see you and your family again soon for more of these special pictures.
