Reagan's First Birthday Sneak Peek

I can’t believe it’s been a year since I last saw this family! Now Reagan is celebrating her first birthday and she’s grown into a busy, happy little toddler. She had the most adorable outfits for her first birthday photo session and everyone involved got in a great workout as we helped her stay focused on the photos or cake.

Reagan had a beautiful, puffy tulle dress in pastel rainbow colors for her first outfit. She was like a little fairy as she walked around the set with her matching headband. She is definitely mobile and her parents and I worked hard to keep her engaged with bead necklaces or snacks so she’d stay in one place long enough for a quick picture.

She also warmed up to me super fast and I got hugs and lots of offers to share snacks - I love when kids come in and really enjoy the experience and get to be themselves!

Then Reagan had a fun little cake for her cake smash and I was super excited to bring out a background that hasn’t been photographed yet! It seemed a perfect fit for her pink confetti romper and I know her parents are fellow Texas Aggies who’d appreciate the farm scene.

Reagan was beyond perfect as the model for the girly pink cow barn, and she truly enjoyed and smashed her cake. She was all over the place, sometimes sitting for a bit, sometimes eating frosting on the go, and we all enjoyed watching her destroy the cake in style.

She then finished with one of my favorite ways to end a first birthday session - a splash bath! She splashed and played, smiled and sorted the rubber ducks. And overall just had such a blast in the little tub that we all danced along with her and her favorite song.

I wish you the most fantastic birthday, Reagan, with more cake and room to run!
