Sunny's First Birthday Sneak Peek

Sunny was still the smiley, happy girl I remembered from her 6 month milestone session. She was such a delight to photograph and we had a blast letting her crawl around the studio or play with various props. She knew how to celebrate her first birthday in style and it’s hard to believe she’s already the big one year old!

Sunny had two adorable outfits for her birthday session and her parents opted for just nice photos of her and the family the entire time instead of a cake smash or bath. It was perfect for this baby girl, and I enjoyed creating two different settings for her portrait session.

The first that mom selected was the pink lemonade background, and Sunny had coorrdinating outfit in yellow and pink. She was facinated by the tutu at first but then was back to crawling around or playing with the beads. She absolutely LOVED all the chairs and standing options, and it’s amazing to remember that at 6 months she wasn’t quite able to sit unassisted yet.

We snagged those all important photos with mom and dad before changing over to a simple setting with the wood background. Sunny had a spring dress and sweater and I pulled out matching tea party pieces and let her sort them. She wasn’t quite there yet on serving the tea, but she sure had fun and had her awesome smile the entire time.

A huge happy birthday to this precious girl! It’s been such a joy to be part of these milestones and I hope to see you all again soon!
