Kiley's First Birthday Sneak Peek

Kiley had a perfect winter ONEderland birthday session and cake smash decked out in silver and purples! She was such a good sport for our first sets of photos as we changed out chairs and props, and she sure gave cake a fighting try before deciding she was just done. It truly was fun getting to spend the morning with her!

I love this winter set with the purple, silver, and white props and Christmas trees for winter babies! Kiley’s mom wanted to do lots of purples and had an adorable little tulle dress for her along with several headbands for us to select from. We had fun dressing up Kiley and changing out her headbands as we went along, and all Kiley cared about were the pearls!

Kiley was so happy with those necklaces and she sorted them in and out of the cup, tried putting them on her head, and shook them all over the place laughing! She didn’t mind changing chairs or sitting in a basket (for too long) as long as she had those beads.

Then we got Kiley dressed in a fun little tutu bloomer in dark purple for her big cake smash. Her mom brought balloons that we added on the floor and we taped paper fans and other fun paper decor in various shades of purple along the wall. Kiley loved it and we had to keep her from getting into the decorations before we were ready.

Kiley gave the icing a fighting try and we think she liked the sprinkles the most. She picked off the best ones and then left the main cake alone, which in my opinion, is the best part anyways. She was still so adorable when she started to get too tired for any more fun, so we let her try a few more times before opting to let mom take the cake home for the grownups to enjoy.

I truly had a blast with this sweet girl and I wish her the happiest first birthday! I hope you get more cake at your party and maybe even give more than just the frosting a taste.
