Ezra's First Birthday Sneak Peek

Ezra was such a fun little guy to hang out with during his first birthday photo session! He was such a fast crawler and loved to try and escape or move around our set, but was so happy about everything that he had both his mom and me laughing.

We kept things simple with the wooden background and some added lanterns for his first set, and his mom had brought in a great variety of green balloons that matched his outfit. Ezra loved to hold a balloon and throw it at us, so we played that game several times while he also sat in one of my toddler chairs.

He also was a big fan of the puff snacks I keep handy, which helped him sit still long enough to snag a few great pictures of him just enjoying his time. He had the best little grin when he take off across the floor!

For our final cake smash we hung up an awesome green balloon arch that his mom had made. It was so perfect to arch above Ezra while he licked icing off his cake! We also scattered some other balloons around or let Ezra play with those after he’d decided he was done with the cake.

It truly was such a fun morning celebrating this special milestone with Ezra! With balloons and cake, it’s hard not to smile at how much he enjoyed his session!
