Jillian's Maternity Sneak Peek

It was a gorgeous winter day for Jill and Erik’s maternity session at Hudson Gardens in Littleton. We truly lucked out as we still had beautiful patches of snow but the temperature was warmer that day so we weren’t too cold as we walked around the gardens. Plus the light and sunset made for a perfect combination for this couples photos.

I just love the Gardens and they are so different at various times throughout the year but it always surprises me how lovely they can be, even in winter. Jill had a great sweater dress and I love the scarf accessory she paired with it and we had fun using it during her session.

She and Erik were such troopers to walk around in some muddy spots where the snow had melted, but I so enjoyed their company. There were even some holiday lights still up in places that made for some beautiful backdrops and they humored me with a few pictures in a sled, plus we had the beautiful frozen lake.

But the truly awesome part was that sunset! Such a gorgeous winter sunset and clouds and I always get excited to rush around and capture those final moments. This couple was awesome at following my last minute changes as we chased the lights and I just love those final maternity picture of them together.

I can’t wait to see them both again when they welcome their new baby! It’s a joy to be part of preserving this time for them before they become a family of three.
