Silvi's Cocoa Cup Sneak Peek

I had another sweet girl in the studio for a cocoa cup holiday session and Silvi had a great time capturing these special holiday memories. She was curious about everything and loved walking around and showing off all the holiday props and said the marshmallows made the best snack.

Silvi was a little older than my last cocoa cup attendee so we didn’t need to prop her up with pillows or help her sit. In fact, she was walking all over and loved sitting on the sled or carrying around one of my lanterns.

She also loved sorting the marshmallows before we put her in the cup. Her mom and I would toss a few into the scene an she’d carry her lantern over, grab the marshmallow, and return it to us, extremely pleased with herself.

Her mom had a fun Christmas card planned with the entire family with all of Silvi’s family in a “giant cocoa cup” photo they took earlier. But she wanted a special image of Silvi for the card of her in water, too. So we filled the cup with some cocoa water to capture the final pics of her session.

Silvi was not initially happy at sitting inside, although she was still absolutely adorable in her giant red headband. We were able to get her calm and happy, though, for a few quick minutes where she smiled and giggled at the antics of her mom dancing behind me and I was so glad to get a few awesome photos of this special moment just for mom.

I’m so excited to share this little holiday peek and hope to see this hilarious Christmas card after mom has worked her magic.
