Brooklyn's Newborn Sneak Peek
Sweet Brooklyn was a little doll during her newborn photo session. She arrived ready for pictures and got one final bottle before falling fast asleep. She loved the warm room and had such a great nap during her newborn session that I was able to add lots of props and poses for her special newborn pictures.
Her mom had mentioned she loved pinks and purples for Brooklyn with more emphasis on purple. I had fun pulling out flowers and purple details and wraps for her, and Brooklyn did a great job sleeping in the princess carriage for several photos.
She also was extremely smiley when I got her settled in the silver bucket. I’m so glad I was able to snag a photo or two of her sweet smile - it’s always so special when you can capture one of those for parents!
Brooklyn was also one of the easiest babies I’ve had in a while for the ‘chin in hands pose’. I usually need to composite about 3 images together for the completed photo, and don’t attempt it until the end in case it wakes them up. Yet Brooklyn was so relaxed I was able to support her head and neck easily and composite 2 images since she was so still.
Brooklyn also let me play around with some wraps and curly poses on the beanbag at the end as I’m loving the new womb type look. It’s what makes my job so enjoyable to get to be creative and work with babies to make beautiful images for families.
A big congrats to the couple on your beautiful little girl! I look forward to sharing more of her gallery!
