Delaney's Floral Newborn Sneak Peek
Meet Delaney, the newest little girl to come into the studio this week! I had the honor of photographing her big sister a few years ago when she was a newborn, and it was such a joy to see the family again and see how much she’d grown. Plus they added another precious girl to the family and I was honored to be able to preserve these latest memories.
I must say, Delaney made me truly work for each and every photo. Poor thing arrived with hiccups, which always throw babies off, in my experience. But she was quiet and alert for some special sibling photos and her older sibling even held her in her lap for a few.
Then Delaney just was so alert she seemed to not be able to relax enough to sleep. After a few feedings and some rocking in the quiet studio, she did finally give in to sleep and I was able to fly through her newborn photo session. And thank goodness, since we had the cutest things set up for her!
Mom picked purples but mixed in with pinks and flowers. It was a very girly session with the princess carriage, pastel background, and flowers. Plus special photos in the same basket that held her older sister way back when. I’m so glad Delaney was able to relax and allow us these special images. And I never will complain about truly getting in some baby snuggles!
Congrats to this family on your new sweet baby! Delaney is a perfect additional and I’m thrilled for your growing family!
