Evelyn and Morgan Newborn Twin Session
This weekend I got to snuggle with not one, but two little babies in the same day. Plus I met other family with five kids like myself! Evelyn and Morgan came in over the weekend for their newborn twin session and I so enjoyed photographing these special sisters, along with their older siblings. My husband came alongside as my assistant for all the posing and to keep the girls safe at all times, plus we got to utilize all our “five kid photo practice” to capture some sweet sibling images. I will say their kids were amazing at listening and looking at the camera all at the same time! They can come over to my house and give tips to my crew any time.
Morgan and Evelyn were actually on the older end for newborn photos, too, at about five weeks old. They enjoyed snuggling together at the beginning and seemed to prefer photos with each other versus alone. In fact, they seemed to like being on their backs best which I attribute more to their age. They really made me work for one, maybe two, tushie up images on the beanbag, but I did snag a few of each girl seperately in their coordinating flower hats. I also loved using these felted hats on the girls during double chin up in the wooden box. All the pinks and flowers coordinated so beautifully for their session. The girls did trade fussiness at the end and very vocally informed me they were done with pictures. So we quickly snagged an image of them tucked in the blankets. Their little expressions just make me laugh as they were wide wake and ready to cry at any moment as they were just ready for mom.
A huge congrats to this family on your two new beautiful babies. I so loved taking these special images of your children and feel like I found fellow cohorts with our very similar pasts and large families. I can’t wait to share the rest of your gallery!
