Keller Family Outdoor Colorado Session

This sweet family met with me a few days ago for some updated family portraits at one of my favorite outdoor locations. All four of their kids did a wonderful job listening and participating as we walked around the area photographing everyone in different groups and alone. I truly had a blast joking around with them and being silly. We got so many great, authentic smiles and some beautiful portrait for mom to choose from for updating her family wall gallery.

The one thing we had to fight with was the wind, as it started off as mildly annoying but turned into strong gusts by the time our session was over. We did our very best to make it work with us and give the girls model hair, and sometimes it was just waiting for a gust to die down so I could snag a good photo of faces. But after reviewing the gallery I am so happy we still met as the sunset was truly incredible. The view from this spot never ceases to take my breath away and on this particular night the sunset was filled with reds, oranges, yellows, and purples. What a gorgeous way to end a session with such a beautiful family!
