Stacy's Lifestyle Maternity Sneak Peek

I recently got to stretch the boundaries of my typical maternity photo shoot and venture into a more intimate lifestyle maternity session. Stacy had a vision for something special to share with her wife as a surprise of sorts, and she wanted a maternity session in their new home. Stacy and Jen moved to Colorado from California just a few months ago, which must have been crazy during all the Covid shut downs PLUS being pregnant on top of it all! I wanted to help them celebrate their newest little on the way before he makes his debut in about a month, and loved the idea of featuring their new house and capturing some special images for the couple.

Stacy shared lots of great ideas with me via Pinterest and I loved bringing these images to life today. We did several backlit photos with some big windows and curtains and a lovely maternity gown. Then we took several on her bed with a more relaxed wardrobe, and even ventured into the nursery for a few there. By the way, their nursery for baby Jaxson was gorgeous! I can tell they put a lot of heart into the room as they eagerly await adding to their family.
