Logue Wedding Vow Renewal Ceremony
One of the best things about being a photographer is capturing memories for families during some of life’s most precious moments. This last week I got to participate in such a moment as some good friends celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows on their front porch surrounded by their children and loved ones.
It was such a joy to be part of this special ceremony for some friends from church. It was also so nice to be with other people in person instead of just on a screen. The family did have the ceremony recorded and then live streamed over Zoom (hey, it’s Covid times and that’s what we do!). And we did have fun taking some goofy photos with their masks. Again, when it’s quarantine times, you do the mask photos! The kids did a fabulous job participating with reciting verses during the ceremony, and they didn’t object to their parents saying “I do” again. Then they had a blast throwing rose petals into the air as their parents kissed.
I feel so blessed to have been part of such a special day for this family, and I loved just sitting on the porch afterwards and eating a delicious piece of cake. What a beautiful day for this family and I wish them 20 more happy years together!
