Elizabeth and William Sibling Sneak Peek
I’m excited to share a special sneak peek for some very good friends. These kids came into the studio over the weekend for updated portraits and I enjoyed all their posing ideas, banter, and overall fun.
I’ve known Elizabeth and William for a few years and it’s been fun to watch them grow and become little people with big personalities. They were very fancy for the first outfit and I loved the big sparkle bow that Elizabeth wanted in her hair. Last year we used simple white and grey backgrounds, so I brought out my newer white window background for a different look. I loved how it turned out with the fluffy pillows and the kids had lots of ideas on how to sit and lay on the blanket.
I also had them bring in a favorite stuffed animal for a memory type photo. I know that my kids have favorite toys and it’s fun to look back and see how even that changes over the years. Elizabeth even posed the animals for a few photos to make sure I captured the whole family, as she put it.
The kids then changed into a second outfit and we mixed things up and added some fairy lights to the grey background. The kids did a great job standing together for special sibling photos, and I can tell William is used to being asked by his sister to pose a certain way. He was a great sport!
Finally, we did some pictures with the classic white background and white chair. Elizabeth pulled out all my chairs for a few (to make sure the stuffies were included again) and then we finished with just the kids in the white chair.
I’d say it was an overall success with these kids who listened and added great ideas and personality to their pictures! It was so good to see them in person again, especially with being stuck at home more this year, and I can’t wait to share the rest of their photos with their parents!
