Nicola Newborn Sneak Peek

Sweet little Nicola was a last minute addition for me this week, but let me tell you she was a dream! I’ve had a string of babies with hiccups during sessions, and this little one slept the entire time with hardly a peep. She also had the best baby rolls and squishy cheeks, and I had so much fun posing her with various props and on her back.

Since we focused on just Nicola for this newborn session, I had additional time to bring out a basket as well as my fur to get images of her lying on her back. She seemed to really snuggle in, so I was also able to also add the huck finn pose on the bean bag, which can be tricky if babies aren’t fully sound asleep or are restless on their backs. Nicola was perfectly content so I just kept taking photos and posing her while she slept away!

I also love all the super girl colors we did with pinks, greys, and white. And while the angel wing set wasn’t exactly in the pink color scheme, I melted when I saw this one on the computer! Her tiny lips are just adorable! What a sweet little addition for this family and I can’t thank her family enough for calling me and working with my schedule to get her in the studio this week. Welcome to the world, Nicola!
