Mackenzie 6 Month Milestone Session
Miss Mackenzie was back in the studio for updated baby portraits and, my, how she has grown in the past six months! It always amazes me to see how different these precious babies are at each of their milestone sessions. And that’s coming from a mom who knows first hand how much kids change and grow from day to day, especially during that first year!
Mackenzie was so cute, and decided to either be all in with taking photos, or all tears. But she truly did an outstanding job for being in a different environment with big lights and a lady with a camera moving around her. We got several adorable images in a ruffled purple romper that we used to get milestone photos. The silver bucket is one from her newborn session, although last time she fit inside the bucket. Hopefully the next time I see Mackenzie for her big first birthday session, she will be able to stand next to this same bucket.
Mom also brought an adorable little red and white checkered romper and matching baseball headband for Mackenzie to wear. She said her family loves baseball, so we grabbed some precious images of Mackenzie holding a ball and sitting in my big white chair. Then she informed us she was very much done with her session, but we truly got a beautiful gallery together to showcase this fleeting milestone. It reminded me of that famous movie quote, “There’s no crying in baseball!”. I look forward to seeing her again in a few short months to celebrate her birthday!
