Neil's Sneak Peek

This sweet baby boy was recently in the studio for his newborn pictures and was a perfect little model for his entire session. Neil was content and happy to sleep in the warmth, and loved being on his tummy. He also loved my new studio tool that vibrates my beanbag slightly. Neil snuggled right in to every pose so that nifty new tool is certainly a winner!

His mom had requested blues and tans, so I had those colors and wraps ready to go along with the moon prop and wooden bucket. Those colors are always such classics for little boys! Then during the session, his parents saw my red wrap and asked if I incorporate it as red is a celebration color in Nepal, where his father is from. It was so inspiring to add red for sweet Neil and felt very emotional to celebrate the birth of a baby with such a powerful cultural symbol.

We also brought in many other personal touches throughout the session with art from his nursery wall, a handmade quilt, and photos with his parents wedding rings. I always love rings on tiny baby toes! Those types of elements are a joy to add in and I feel honored to preserve such personal memories.

A huge congrats to this family on your perfect little boy! I truly enjoyed spending time with you during our session together and give that sweet baby a snuggle for me.
