McKenna Sneak Peek

Sweet tiny McKenna came to the studio yesterday for her newborn photo debut. Her parents decorated her nursery in mint and grey so I pulled out lots of headbands and fabrics in those colors along with some pink, since I just love pink mixed in with the mint green. McKenna also was the first little one to use my cedar sled this season as she's the first official winter baby in the studio. I love how the mint snowflake background worked with the sled and I even got to photograph my new floor backdrop that looks like winter snow or ice. Plus I had some additional fun with the snow images on the computer and added extra snowflakes.

This little one was already so strong, always wanting her fingers closed around something or in a little fist. She fought sleep for a little bit while wrapped in the fur blanket, but I love that I got some yawning photos of her and a few with her eyes open. She also preferred to be on her tummy, so I tried to keep her curled up so she was happy and sleepy. I did sneak in a few of her on her side on the beanbag, though, and she relaxed her little hands for me just a bit as long as they could clap each other.

A big thanks to her parents for letting me photograph their precious little girl. Enjoy that special snuggle time when she can just fit on your chest.
