Liam's First Birthday Sneak Peek

Liam was one happy little guy for his first birthday photos earlier this week. He enjoyed both a holiday type setting with the cedar sled and ornaments, and ending with a buffalo plaid cake smash where he thought the icing was fantastic.

Liam had the most adorable little suit for his nice portraits before the birthday celebration. He had smiles for everyone and did a great job sitting on the little sleigh and holding a giant ornament or my lantern. His cousin even jumped in for a few and we were able to capture a sweet family photo that will be perfect for a holiday card.

Liam also had fun organizing some pinecones in a bowl, a task which he took very seriously. He did offer me a few pinecones several times so I could help, which was just precious and he also thought was great fun.

We switched to a wood paneling background with buffalo plaid accents for Liam’s celebratory cake smash. He had a matching diaper cover with suspenders and he really enjoyed his cake. At first he couldn’t figure out what was the big deal, but then he got some more tastes of the frosting and he was sold! He even was kind enough to leave plenty for them to take home, and I hope his cousin got a big piece to enjoy for all his patience and awesome listening during the photo session.
