Jill's Maternity & Family Sneak Peek
It is always such a joy to be part of a family’s journey as they grow! I originally met this couple for their first maternity session and I loved seeing them over the past few years for newborn photos and first birthday pictures for their son. It was wonderful to meet up with them again for another maternity/family photo session to celebrate the upcoming birth of their second baby - I can’t wait to find out if it’s a boy or girl!
I love including siblings into maternity sessions as they are an important part of welcoming the new baby. First babies tend to focus on the couple and mom, and additional maternity pics are truly about the entire family coming together.
I know from personal experience these are the last major photos of them as a family of three. Soon family photos will include another baby and it’s great to capture those special moments of the firstborn with just their parents.
Easton did a fabulous job joining his mom and dad for photos throughout our evening. Toddlers have short attention spans so it takes a little extra creativity to get them engaged, but he was awesome! Snacks work miracles and there was lots of room to walk and run around when we were just taking photos of mom.
We also had a gorgeous sunset this particular evening! After several snowy days that forced us to reschedule, we truly had a beautiful evening. It was a touch windy, but we used it as best we could for model hair and I think the photos turned out great!
I eagerly await seeing this family again soon with their newest little one for studio photos and to find out the gender. Such an exciting time for this family! In the meantime, enjoy this sneak peek of their special maternity/ family photo session.
